Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luther Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirk Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hall comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "Bring out your Dead" by Strung Out kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
A jab from Hall misses.
Hall takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A cross from Vega lands.
Vega moves out of range of the strikes.
Vega lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Hall looks to land a combination but Vega avoids it well.
Vega throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vega displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hall throws out the jab.

The fighters circling - Hall throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Hall's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

A punch lands to the side of Hall 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Vega works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hall throws a series of punches but Vega avoids them all with ease.
Hall misses with a body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luther Vega dominated that round.
That's time! Vega's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Vega throws a leg kick but Hall sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Hall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Vega catches Hall with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hall darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Vega rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hall moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hall takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hall is breathing heavily.
Hall misses the shot to the body.
Vega dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hall. That did some damage!

Vega takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Vega throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vega fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hall manages to avoid it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Vega.
Vega getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Hall throws a series of punches but Vega moves out of range.
Luther Vega is winning the standup battle so far.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vega, right into the meat.
Vega fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hall manages to avoid it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vega, as that shot connected.
Vega with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Vega thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hall if he has to take too many more of those.

Hall takes one to the chin there.
Hall throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Vega counters with a straight right hand.
Hall chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vega can pounce on him.
Vega connects with an inside leg kick.
Hall doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Vega cracks Hall with an open hand slap.
Hall is rocked!
Hall takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hall is still on wobbly legs! Can Vega finish him?
Vega dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vega lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hall will feel that in the morning.
Hall seems to have recovered his senses.
Look low, kick high! Vega uses the oldest trick in the book to send Hall tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Vega is absolutely delighted - when Hall wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
