Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bob Accounting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Accounting comes to the cage accompanied by The Macarana. Lee has chosen Enter the Dragon as his entrance music. Bruce Lee will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Accounting!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Lee!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Accounting pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Accounting tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.
A head kick misses from Lee.
Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No luck for Accounting with that takedown attempt.
Accounting shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense.
Lee thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Accounting if he has to take too many more of those.
Accounting shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Accounting. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lee connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Accounting to the floor! Lee dives in looking for the finish!


Accounting is rocked!


It looks like Bob Accounting has been cut.
Accounting gets back to full guard.
Oh Accounting is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Accounting looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Lee puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Lee seems to be looking for submissions.
Accounting seems to have got his legs back now.
Lee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Accounting does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Accounting is looking to get back to full guard here but Lee has managed to pass to side control instead.

Accounting tries to roll over but Lee keeps him under control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Accounting flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lee in particular looking to stall.
Lee is pressing down on Accounting's thigh, looking to free his foot. Accounting is holding on for now.
Lee has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Accounting bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Accounting stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Accountingis looking to pass into half guard but Lee pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Lee is in guard.
Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but Accounting is retaining full guard.
Lee won't allow Accounting to sweep him here.

Lee decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Accounting, up you get!

Horrible takedown by Accounting or perhaps it was just good defense by Lee which made him look bad.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lee dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Accounting. That did some damage!

Accounting sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Accounting. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Accounting is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

I've got Lee winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
