Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Micks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Washington! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fred Micks! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Steve Montenegro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Washington misses with a hook. Micks drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Washington tries to land a sweep but no joy. Micks working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Washington looking to hit a scissor sweep but Micks is one step ahead there. Micks tries to free his leg and advance position but Washington is retaining full guard. Micks drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Washington manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Micks has Washington in his guard. Washington trying to control the position from guard on top but Micks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Washington is looking to work some ground and pound but Micks has wrist control. Micks is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Washington loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's one minute gone in the round. Micks isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Washington stacks Micks on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Washington! Micks tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Washington presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Washington with good strikes from the mount here! Micks is squirming around, avoiding Washington's attempts to control the action. Washington is working for a guillotine from mount but Micks frees his head quite easily.

Micks is trying desperately to improve position. Washington goes for an armbar but Micks turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Micks. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Washington tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Micks lands a couple of digs. Washington is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Washington is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Micks wants to pass the guard but Washington is keeping the position. Micks advances to half guard. Micks thows a huge punch but Washington dodges it nicely.
Washington is trying to get back to full guard. Micks passes the guard and advances to mount! Washington is breathing heavily. Washington is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Micks working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Micks landing shots from mount. Micks trying to control but Washington is having none of it. Washington tries to control Micks's body but Micks pushes him off. Washington squirms to his side and now Micks has his back! You can see the frustration on Washington's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Washington defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Micks's arms. Washington just trying to survive but Micks is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Washington is taking damage to the body and head. Washington breaks Micks's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Micks is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Washington postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Washington distracts Micks with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Micks is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Washington rolls with it to try and escape but Micks cranks on the arm and Washington is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
