Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Grant Kennedy!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kennedy is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.
Kennedy tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
Kennedy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though.
Kennedy actively working from the bottom here.
Kennedy is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Gracie pulls his head out easily.
Gracie moves nicely into side control.
Gracie tries for a kimura but Kennedy is defending well.
Kennedy tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kennedy tries to improve position but can't.
Kennedy manages to get back to half guard.
Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kennedy is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.
Gracie is working for a submission of some sort.
Gracie looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kennedy tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control.
Kennedy works his way to full guard. Good work.
Kennedy looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Gracie passes into side control.
Kennedy could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gracie goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kennedy rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Gracie's guard! Nice work there by Kennedy!
Kennedy passes Gracie's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Kennedy is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gracie is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
