Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kaname Tosen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaname Tosen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Bunter!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tosen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A low kick from Bunter is predictable there
and Tosen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tosen scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Tosen cracks Bunter with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Tosen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bunter napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Bunter tries to bench press Tosen off him but Tosen keeps the position.

Tosen throwing strikes but Bunter manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Tosen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Tosen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tosen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Tosen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bunter's waist but Bunter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tosen off to one side.
Tosen clinches up with Bunter and pushes him back against the cage.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Well Tosen has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
