Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Kilpatrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdul Raziq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilpatrick's entrance music is Gentleman. A fine choice. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilpatrick lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Raziq circles away quickly and effectively.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Raziq.
Raziq tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kilpatrick paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kilpatrick lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Raziq uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kilpatrick.
Kilpatrick throws a series of punches but Raziq avoids them all with ease.
Raziq tries to clinch up.

Raziq gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Raziq prevents Kilpatrick from breaking the clinch.
Raziq is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Raziq tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Kilpatrick escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Raziq throws a right and a left that both miss.

Raziq tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kilpatrick swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kilpatrick connects with the punch.
Kilpatrick lands a jab to the nose.
Kilpatrick fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Raziq counters with a stiff right hand.
Raziq tries to clinch but Kilpatrick moves out of range.
Kilpatrick scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Kilpatrick misses with a looping right.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kilpatrick keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Kilpatrick closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kilpatrick seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Raziq wants to get back to his feet.

Kilpatrick has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Raziq is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kilpatrick not doing much here.
Kilpatrick lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Kilpatrick takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Raziq tries to kick Kilpatrick off in order to stand up. Kilpatrick Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Raziq really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kilpatrick. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A big strike lands for Kilpatrick! That's really hurt Raziq and he's turned his back - Kilpatrick keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Kilpatrick jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
