Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Magenta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fred Ward!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magenta pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Magenta tries to close the distance and clinch but Ward swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Magenta misses with a body shot
letting Ward counter with a right hand.
A jab from Ward does it's job there.
Magenta shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Magenta throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Magenta tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ward was well out of range. Poor timing from Magenta.
Magenta throws a head kick that misses.
Ward uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Magenta.
Magenta takes a swing at Ward's ribcage but misses.
Magenta tries to score with a low kick but Ward moves his leg out of the way.
Ward ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Magenta throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ward counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ward lands a big right hand that sends Magenta crashing to the mat! Ward stays standing though and waves Magenta back to his feet!
It looks like Johnny Magenta has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Magenta misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ward.
Ward walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Magenta drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Ward swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Magenta's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fred Ward!
