The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Silva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Tits McGee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGee swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

McGee turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and McGee manages to end up in side control.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - McGee has eaten all the pies!
McGee is trying to ground and pound but Silva uses the momentary lack of control by McGee to regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McGee's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McGee's back!
Silva is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

McGee lands a really nice looking cross but Silva seems unphased.
McGee is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

McGee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McGee has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.
