Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MC Hammerfist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammerfist is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2 legit 2 quit - MC Hammer. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hammerfist but Hammerfist pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hammerfist misses the shot to the body.
Hammerfist connects with a leg kick. Couture looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
That kick from Hammerfist tenderised Couture's leg. Couture is trying to keep his angry face on.

Hammerfist moves into range and clinches up with Couture.
A short uppercut from Hammerfist.
Couture's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hammerfist creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Hammerfist lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Couture backwards.
Couture jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hammerfist walks away with a smile on his face. Couture gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Couture fails with the takedown
and Hammerfist counters with a flying knee. Nice.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randy Couture. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A decent looking cross lands there for Hammerfist.
Hammerfist is looking to slow Couture down with leg kicks.
Couture tries for a takedown but Hammerfist circles away easily
and Hammerfist counters with a slapping leg kick.
Couture is breathing heavily.
Good exchange - Hammerfist coming out on top.

Couture takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Couture. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Hammerfist scores with a hook to the body. Couture takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Couture closes the distance and clinches up with Hammerfist, looking for a takedown. Couture pushes Hammerfist against the cage but Hammerfist circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hammerfist lands a hook that snaps the head of Couture backwards.
Hammerfist works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Hammerfist is struggling to control the position.
Hammerfist is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Couture goes for a takedown attempt but Hammerfist pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Hammerfist lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hammerfist scores with a nice right hand.
Hammerfist lands a leg kick that knocks Couture off balance momentarily.
Hammerfist darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Hammerfist cracks Couture with a right hand to the side of the head.
Couture is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Hammerfist wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Couture tries to buck Hammerfist off but Hammerfist is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by MC Hammerfist.
Hammerfist turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Hammerfist has Couture up against the cage in a clinch.
Couture is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Hammerfist lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A right hook to the body lands for Hammerfist.
Hammerfist lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Couture backwards.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hammerfist lands an uppercut.
Couture tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hammerfist just stands there and leans against the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Hammerfist works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Couture's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hammerfist fakes the leg kick and cracks Couture in the body.
Donk. Hammerfist catches Couture right on the button with a cross.
Couture is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Hammerfist has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Hammerfist throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hammerfist fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Couture on the side of the head.
Nice straight punches there by Hammerfist. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hammerfist.

Couture is rocked!
Hammerfist moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Couture chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hammerfist can pounce on him.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Couture crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hammerfist - the referee stops the clock and Couture gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hammerfist. Couture manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Hammerfist lands a jab to Couture's midsection.

Oh Couture is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hammerfist cracks Couture's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Couture slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Hammerfist can do further damage! This one is done, son!
