Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Hathaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hathaway throws a right and a left that Lombard avoids nicely.
Hathaway uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lombard.
Lombard swings widly with a right hand
and Hathaway counters with a left and a right that stings Lombard.
A left lands for Hathaway.
Hathaway fails to land with a series of punches.
Lombard misses with a straight left.
Lombard misses with an uppercut
and Hathaway counters with a crisp one two that drops Lombard! Hathaway thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lombard to his feet! Lombard is in big trouble!
Lombard is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hathaway lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Lombard falls backwards - clearly groggy! Hathaway dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Hathaway!
