The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNeil drops Wall with a beautiful combination! Wall stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McNeil is looking for the KO!


Wall is rocked!
McNeil closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wall circles away.
Oh Wall is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McNeil misses with a two punch combination.
McNeil doesn't manage to clinch there - Wall circles away.

McNeil gets a clinch.
McNeil is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wall pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Wall tries to pull guard but McNeil holds him up against the cage and eventually Wall drops back down to his feet.
Wall seems to have got his legs back now.
Wall fails to pull guard.
McNeil prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Wall. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wall is trying to break free.

Wall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

McNeil has a closed guard, preventing Wall from standing up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
McNeil will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McNeil moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Wall clinches up against the cage.
Wall wants to break the clinch but can't.
Wall tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McNeil smiles and moves away.
McNeil closes the distance but Wall moves to the side

and Wall counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Wall taking a breather.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jason McNeil dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Wall tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McNeil swivels and escapes.
Wall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McNeil pinned against the cage. McNeil gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
McNeil throws a series of punches but Wall avoids them all with ease.
McNeil misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McNeil connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wall. Wall circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
McNeil tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Wall counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wall tries to free his leg and advance position but McNeil is retaining full guard.
McNeil is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
McNeil looking to control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wall postures up in McNeil's guard and throws a big left but McNeil blocks it.
Wall tries to free his leg and advance position but McNeil is retaining full guard.
Wall keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of McNeil's head.
Wall trying to control but McNeil is working from the bottom.
McNeil manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wall manages to get himself to full guard.
Wall has McNeil pulled in close to control his posture.

Wall wants to sweep but no luck.
Wall trying to keep a closed guard but McNeil is proving a slippery customer.
McNeil forces his way into half guard.
Wall is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
McNeil passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Wall!

McNeil manages to capitalize on a mistake by Wall to take his back!
A bit of a pause in the action here. McNeil controlling the positon.
Wall is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
McNeil is looking to control Wall but Wall is wriggling around and keeping busy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wall just trying to survive but McNeil is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
McNeil is hanging on to Wall's back as he tries to escape.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - McNeil's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
McNeil might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wall kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ryan Wall will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


McNeil darts in trying to clinch

and Wall moves into the clinch.

Wall manages to pull guard.

Wall throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! McNeil escapes and throws Wall's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Wall tries to get back to half guard but can't.
McNeil working away.
Wall prevents McNeil from moving into mount.

Wall looks to move to half guard but instead McNeil has passed into mount! Damn!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Wall is squirming around, avoiding McNeil's attempts to control the action.
McNeil prevents Wall from getting the reversal.
McNeil controlling from mount.
McNeil trying to control but he's not successful this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
McNeil throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Wall because McNeil loaded up on that one.
Wall tries to lock up and control but McNeil gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
McNeil wants to control the pace but Wall is squirming around nicely.
Wall tries to control McNeil's body but McNeil pushes him off. Wall squirms to his side and now McNeil has his back!
McNeil not allowing Wall to control his hands.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wall tries to escape but McNeil has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Wall wants to get back to his feet.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Wall is in bad spot here.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wall rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Wall is trying to stand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McNeil tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Wall counters by clinching up.
Wall prevents McNeil from breaking the clinch.
McNeil is stalling here.
McNeil tries to pull guard but Wall won't allow it.
Wall is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

McNeil pulls Wall into guard.
McNeil controls Wall momentarily but Wall frees himself.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Jason McNeil.
I think McNeil has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
