Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Longoria II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeff Martin looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeff Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evan Longoria II! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and Joseph Jones.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longoria II instigates a clinch.
Longoria II jumps guard.
Longoria II trying to keep a closed guard but Martin is proving a slippery customer.

Martin has gone for a leg lock! Longoria II slips out almost immediately though and dives into Martin's guard.
Longoria II decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Martin, up you get!
Longoria II moves into range and clinches up with Martin.

Martin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Martin is breathing heavily.
Longoria II scrambles and gets back to his feet.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Martin shoots in but no luck this time.
Longoria II has taken the fight to the clinch.
Longoria II is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Longoria II escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Longoria II drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Longoria II tries for a kimura but Martin is defending well. Longoria II landing strikes.
Longoria II is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Martin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Longoria II trying to control the action but Martin is working from the bottom.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Martin tries to buck Longoria II off but Longoria II is having none of it. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Martin gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Martin is refusing to be controlled, as Longoria II sits in half guard. Longoria II prevents Martin from improving his position. Longoria II trying to control from half guard but Martin is working away.
Longoria II is working for a submission of some sort.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Martin has his takedown stuffed
and Longoria II counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Longoria II. Longoria II looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Martin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Longoria II doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Longoria II manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Longoria II stands up and waves to Martin to follow him. Longoria II misses with a series of wild punches.
Nice takedown defense from Longoria II. No joy for Martin on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Longoria II misses with a takedown attempt - Martin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Martin shoots and misses
and Longoria II decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Martin's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Longoria II with a flurry of punches that miss. Longoria II stopping the sweep attempt from Martin.
Martin had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Longoria II is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Martin Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Longoria II's back instead. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Longoria II turns into Martin and is now in his guard.
Martin tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Evan Longoria II dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Martin with a lazy takedown attempt and Longoria II counters with an inside leg kick. Martin tries for a takedown but Longoria II circles away easily
and Longoria II counters by moving into the clinch. Martin wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Longoria II gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Martin.
Longoria II jumps guard and drags Martin to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Longoria II pulls Martin in close to prevent any damage. Longoria II scores with a short punch from the bottom. Longoria II wants to sweep here but Martin controlling him for the moment. Longoria II controls Martin momentarily but Martin frees himself.
Martin has gone for a leg lock! Longoria II slips out almost immediately though and dives into Martin's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Longoria II with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Martin keeping moving, preventing Longoria II from controlling successfully.
Martin pushes a forearm under Longoria II's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Longoria II is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
