Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Longoria II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeff Martin looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longoria II instigates a clinch.
Longoria II jumps guard.
Longoria II trying to keep a closed guard but Martin is proving a slippery customer.

Martin has gone for a leg lock! Longoria II slips out almost immediately though and dives into Martin's guard.

and Longoria II decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Martin's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Martin had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Longoria II is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Martin Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Longoria II's back instead.

Martin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
