Williams is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
St James keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Williams.

Williams tries to keep at a distance but St James has taken the fight into the clinch.

Williams jumps into guard, dragging St James to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams has St James pulled in close to control his posture.
St James slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Despite being in the dominant position, Cameron St James just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Williams shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Williams wants to take St James's back here but St James is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Williams controlling from the full mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
St James slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

St James is trying to stand.

Williams escapes and gets back to his feet.
Williams wants to clinch up but St James keeps it at a distance.
Williams shoots and misses
and St James counters with a one-two to the body.

St James misses with the combination.
Williams throws a right hand that St James ducks under and follows up with a left that St James also avoids with ease.
Nate Williams has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
