Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
32 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dumbass McWeakhands! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
41 - 20 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Seppo Taalasmaa! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taalasmaa lands a front kick. McWeakhands punishes Taalasmaa's body with a nice straight punch. McWeakhands scores with a leg kick.
Taalasmaa uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McWeakhands has time to react. McWeakhands thows a body shot but no joy. McWeakhands is looking to land body kicks. Taalasmaa thows a left - swing and a miss! McWeakhands throws the left hand but Taalasmaa avoids the punch easily. Taalasmaa fails with a takedown attempt.
Taalasmaa closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. McWeakhands is looking to reverse the position. McWeakhands is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McWeakhands takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Taalasmaa is trying to ground and pound but McWeakhands uses the momentary lack of control by Taalasmaa to regain half guard. McWeakhands is trying to maintain the position but Taalasmaa is very close to passing his half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Taalasmaa sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. McWeakhands defending well though. Taalasmaa throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Taalasmaa is pressing down on McWeakhands's thigh, looking to free his foot. McWeakhands is holding on for now. Taalasmaa misses with a head shot. McWeakhands uses the momentum to regain guard. Taalasmaa throwing strikes from guard but McWeakhands blocks nicely.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Taalasmaa missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. McWeakhands tries to land a sweep but no joy. McWeakhands keeping full guard, as Taalasmaa tries to pass. Taalasmaa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed McWeakhands's guard. Taalasmaa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McWeakhands does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Taalasmaa throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. McWeakhands moves into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McWeakhands looking for a sweep. Not yet McWeakhands, not yet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Taalasmaa looking to pass the guard. Taalasmaa trying to move into half guard but instead McWeakhands has managed to sweep! McWeakhands has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

McWeakhands got a little sloppy there for a moment and Taalasmaa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McWeakhands has managed to get both his arms back between Taalasmaa's legs - danger averted. Taalasmaa looking for a sweep. Not yet Taalasmaa, not yet. McWeakhands controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Taalasmaa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McWeakhands gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Taalasmaa wants to sweep here but McWeakhands controlling him for the moment. Taalasmaa keeping moving, preventing McWeakhands from controlling successfully. Taalasmaa throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McWeakhands stays in close to Taalasmaa's body and controls the position. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Seppo Taalasmaa dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
McWeakhands throws a low kick but Taalasmaa avoids it. Taalasmaa takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Taalasmaa shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McWeakhands napping and manages to drive through into side control! Taalasmaa tries to move into full mount but can't pass McWeakhands's legs. You can see the frustration on McWeakhands's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. McWeakhands avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Taalasmaa. McWeakhands struggling a bit here. Taalasmaa working the body and head with strikes.
 That's one minute gone in the round. McWeakhands dodges the ground and pound from Taalasmaa. The ground and pound from Taalasmaa seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. McWeakhands avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Taalasmaa.
Taalasmaa in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... McWeakhands is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
