Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rafinha Capoeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Chabala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rafinha Capoeira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Chabala! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Capoeira closes the distance but Chabala moves to the side and Chabala makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Chabala keeps the fight on the outside. Chabala is looking to score with low kicks. Chabala shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Capoeira fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chabala, pushing him back against the cage. Chabala blocks the elbow strike.
Capoeira lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Chabala prevents a body shot from Capoeira. Capoeira misses with a hook to the ribs.
A short body shot lands from Chabala as the two fighters clinch.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chabala breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Capoeira closes the distance but Chabala moves to the side and Chabala counters with a left to the body. Capoeira on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Capoeira tries to clinch up enabling Chabala to counter with a crisp jab. Chabala fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Capoeira tries to clinch and Chabala counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Capoeira moves to clinch but Chabala breaks away and Chabala counters with a shoot takedown. Capoeira fights it but they end up in guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chabala passes Capoeira's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Capoeira on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Capoeira tries to get out of the position. Chabala seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Capoeira does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chabala is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Chabala thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Capoeira's head. Chabala trying to control the pace. Chabala landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Chabala throws a strike but Capoeira avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Chabala pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Capoeira is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chabala trying to control but Capoeira is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chabala loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Chabala is pushing down on Capoeira's leg trying to pass to half guard. Capoeira is fighting to maintain full guard but Chabala has managed to sneak the leg through. Chabala thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Chabala trying to control from half guard but Capoeira is working away. Chabala wants to pass to mount but Capoeira is defending the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Capoeira blocking the ground and pound attempt from Chabala. Chabala thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chabala wants to free his trapped foot but Capoeira is holding on for dear life with his legs. Chabala thows a huge punch but Capoeira dodges it nicely.

Matt Chabala dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Chabala clobbers Capoeira with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Chabala thuds his right hand into Capoeira's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Chabala avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Capoeira moves in looking to clinch but Chabala pushes him off. Capoeira gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Chabala misses with a hook. Capoeira ducked under it nicely. Chabala lands a lovely overhand right. Chabala throws a head kick that misses. Chabala lands with a nice body punch. Chabala throws a leg kick which misses Capoeira's front leg but catches the back leg as Capoeira tries to avoid it. Capoeira avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Capoeira decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Chabala's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chabala pulls Capoeira in close to prevent any damage. Chabala is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We're going to have a standup here because Rafinha Capoeira wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Capoeira doesn't manage to clinch there - Chabala circles away.
Capoeira wants to clinch and Chabala counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Chabala throwing shots but Capoeira is blocking nicely. Chabala controlling the pace. Chabala not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Chabala sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Capoeira defending well though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chabala is trying to control. Capoeira wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Chabala missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Chabala lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Capoeira keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Capoeira is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Chabala scores with a couple of nice shots. Chabala throwing shots but Capoeira is blocking nicely. Capoeira on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Chabala working Capoeira over with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chabala is keen to just control but Capoeira is a slippery customer. Matt Chabala has got the better of the ground game so far. Capoeira has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chabala is working away from the top position though. Chabala tries to pass to full mount but Capoeira defends it. Chabala throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Capoeira to regain full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chabala sitting in guard, not really doing much. Chabala working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Chabala is stalling in the full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Capoeira keeping moving, preventing Chabala from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Chabala showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Chabala circles away from the clinch attempt and Chabala counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Capoeira thinking. Capoeira looks to clinch and Chabala counters with a left to the body. Capoeira tries to clinch and Chabala counters with a stiff right hand. Chabala lands the left hand. Chabala lands a really nice looking cross but Capoeira seems unphased.

Capoeira has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Chabala. Capoeira darts in trying to clinch and Chabala connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Capoeira has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Chabala finds it's way round the side to connect with Capoeira's head. Chabala with a hook.
Capoeira is rocked! Chabala cracks Capoeira with a left hook right on the temple and Capoeira goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Chabala lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Capoeira is OK!
