Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roman Kvasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pavel Zarubin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kvasov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Diskoteka avaria-Nebo. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pavel Zarubin!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zarubin wants to clinch.
Kvasov connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Pavel Zarubin has been cut.
Zarubin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kvasov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kvasov lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kvasov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Zarubin wants to clinch up but Kvasov keeps it at a distance.
Zarubin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kvasov tries to avoid it but Zarubin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kvasov to the ground. Kvasov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zarubin misses with a two punch combination.
Zarubin doesn't manage to clinch there - Kvasov circles away.
Zarubin looks winded!
Zarubin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kvasov circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Zarubin drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Kvasov follows Zarubin to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roman Kvasov!
