Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steven Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricci Boyd!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyd misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Lewis moves away from the strike by Boyd.
Boyd misses with a double jab
and Lewis counters with a shoot takedown. Boyd fights it but they end up in guard.
Boyd working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lewis.
Lewis lands a couple of digs.
Lewis throwing strikes from guard but Boyd blocks nicely.
Boyd wants to stand up but Lewis is controlling him.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lewis's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lewis makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Lewis throws a big right hand that misses.

Lewis is working Boyd over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Boyd is rocked!
Lewis cracks Boyd with a solid left hand.
Boyd is still in real trouble! Can Lewis finish him?
Lewis loads up on a big left hand. Boyd felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Lewis looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Boyd can't hide his disappointment, as Lewis celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steven Lewis!
