Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jermain King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Espinoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by VAMPIRE. Espinoza is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by krolithika. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jermain King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Ace Espinoza!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Espinoza takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Espinoza doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jermain King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Espinoza takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Espinoza avoids the head kick by King.
King throws a right hand that Espinoza ducks under and follows up with a left that Espinoza also avoids with ease.
King tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
King looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Espinoza does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
King drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Espinoza moves out of range of the body kick.
King is looking to clinch.
King misses with a wild body shot.
King is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Espinoza swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by King.

King uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Espinoza.
King moves in looking to clinch but Espinoza pushes him off.
King checks the leg kick.
King ducks under a wild hook from Espinoza.
Espinoza has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by King.
Espinoza throws a low kick, looking for King's leg but King calmly moves out of range.
King fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Espinoza.
Nice jab there from King.


It looks like Ace Espinoza has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Espinoza takes one to the chin there.
Espinoza keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

King lands a big head kick that sends Espinoza tumbling to the mat! King takes a step backwards and waves Espinoza back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Espinoza is rocked!
King throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Espinoza is still on wobbly legs! Can King finish him?
King tries to clinch up but Espinoza circles away and keeps his distance.
Espinoza seems to have recovered his senses.
King fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Espinoza wants to clinch.
King is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A jab from King misses.
King throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Espinoza sees it coming and avoids it easily.
King steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Espinoza.
A cross from King lands.


That has opened up Ace Espinoza's cut even more.
Espinoza moves out of range as King throws a body kick.

King drives through and clinches with Espinoza against the cage.

Espinoza tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

King lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Espinoza is trying to push King away but King has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from King.

Espinoza tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Espinoza is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. King is aware though and is defending well.

Espinoza not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Espinoza is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and King defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Espinoza is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. King is aware though and is defending well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King passes Espinoza's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Espinoza tries to get to full guard but King has control of the leg.
King wants to take a breather but Espinoza is having none of it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
King works his foot free and advances to mount.

King is working for a guillotine from mount but Espinoza frees his head quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jermain King dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ace Espinoza's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


King swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Espinoza throws a head kick that misses.
Nice body punch from King.
King tries to close the distance and clinch up but Espinoza swats him away and circles back towards the center.
King pushes Espinoza away with a front kick.
King explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Espinoza throws an off balance right hand
and King counters with a low kick, right behind Espinoza 's knee.
Espinoza moves out of range as King throws a body kick.
Espinoza throws a hook to the side of King's head but King sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Espinoza is breathing heavily.
King slips under a jab.
King swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Espinoza makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

King tries to clinch there but Espinoza circles away.
Espinoza takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
King scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
King throws a shot to the body.
King throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
King lands a jab to Espinoza's midsection.
This has been an exciting period of action!
King misses with a kick to the body.

King gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Espinoza.
Espinoza is trying to stall.
Espinoza tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
King lands an elbow that stopped Espinoza in his tracks for a moment.

King tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Espinoza avoids it.

Espinoza tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. King smiles and moves away.

King wants to clinch up but Espinoza keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - King looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
King moves in looking to clinch but Espinoza pushes him off.
A punch lands to the side of King 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Espinoza counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
King works over Espinoza's head and body with a nice combination.


The cut above Ace Espinoza's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Espinoza moves out of range of the body kick.

King is looking to clinch.
King is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Espinoza can do to turn this around?
Espinoza lands a nice hook to King's body. King takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

A nice leg kick lands there from King.

King tries to clinch but Espinoza is having none of it.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
King slips a straight right by Espinoza.
Espinoza throws a low kick, looking for King's leg but King calmly moves out of range.
King lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
King takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Ace Espinoza's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
King lands a knee to the body.
Espinoza using the Thai plumb to throw knees but King has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Espinoza misses with the head strike.
King tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, King just misses with a elbow thrown towards Espinoza's brow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

King looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from King. Espinoza shrugs it off though.

King looks to score with a jab to the body but Espinoza is just out of range.
King lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
King tries to clinch up.

Espinoza takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Espinoza swings wildly with an uppercut but King uses good head movement to avoid it.

King lands a damaging elbow.

Espinoza tries to work over King's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Espinoza lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Espinoza throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

A nice right hand lands inside from Espinoza.

Jermain King made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying '"Bow before di Emperor!"'.
