Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Explosion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Manhoef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melvin Manhoef is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Explosion has managed to clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Explosion.
Explosion tries to pull guard but Manhoef won't allow it.
Explosion keeps control of Manhoef as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Manhoef is trying to break free.
Explosion tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Manhoef smiles and moves away.

Explosion shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Explosion showed some decent athleticism there.
Manhoef is trying to get back to full guard.
Explosion tries to stand and escape but Manhoef is controlling the position.
Explosion will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Explosion perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Explosion wants to stand but Manhoef has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

I looks like Manhoef might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
