Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mirko Boban!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Trane!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trane is looking to clinch but Boban is avoiding it.
John Trane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Trane moves into range and clinches up with Boban.
Boban blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Trane misses with a knee strike.
Boban landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Boban misses with a body punch.
Trane lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Trane tries to land knees in the clinch but Boban avoids the damage to the body.
Boban blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Trane is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Boban gets control of Trane's arms and successfully pulls guard. Boban will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Trane throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Boban stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Boban closes the distance and clinches.

Trane is trying to maintain a safe position but Boban gets an underhook and turns Trane into the cage.

Oh Boban is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Trane jerks Boban's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Boban drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Trane goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Trane because Boban was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
