The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Pury looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? B�hler is fending him off so far but De Pury persists. Nope, B�hler circles away and we're back to standing.
B�hler fails in his attempt to clinch.
B�hler uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
B�hler displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from De Pury.
De Pury has a takedown stuffed.
Marco B�hler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan De Pury.
B�hler throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
De Pury takes a swing at B�hler's ribcage but misses.
De Pury throws a series of punches but B�hler avoids them all with ease.
De Pury takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
De Pury tries to score a power double leg takedown but B�hler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten De Pury somewhat.
De Pury tries to move into range but B�hler moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Marco B�hler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
B�hler avoids the head kick by De Pury.
De Pury on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by B�hler. B�hler obviously looking to wear him down.
B�hler throws a front kick aimed at De Pury's knee but De Pury avoids it well.

B�hler fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and De Pury has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
B�hler feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits De Purys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
B�hler shoots in and bounces De Pury off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
B�hler trying to move into half guard but instead De Pury has managed to sweep!
B�hler wants to sweep here but De Pury controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
De Pury wants to stand but B�hler is controlling his posture from full guard.
De Pury must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as De Pury accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

De Pury is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

A nice inside leg kick there by B�hler. That's going to slow De Pury down.
De Pury is trying desperately to land a takedown but B�hler is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for De Pury.
B�hler shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. De Pury manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if De Pury can do anything to dispel that myth.

B�hler postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
B�hler postures up in De Pury's guard and throws a big left but De Pury blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
B�hler is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
B�hler passes easily into side control. Nice work.
B�hler wants to control but De Pury is keeping him busy.
B�hler scores with a couple of short elbows.

B�hler prevents De Pury from escaping the position.
B�hler avoids the strikes from the bottom by De Pury.

De Pury is rocked!
B�hler is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. De Pury knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
De Pury tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but B�hler wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
De Pury takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
B�hler cracks De Pury with an elbow. That is naaassty.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

B�hler buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
De Pury will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

B�hler lands a nice leg kick that just misses De Pury's sensitive parts.
B�hler throws a hook but De Pury blocks it.

B�hler thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed De Pury's head.
De Pury is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

De Pury is trying to stand up here but B�hler is controlling him well.
B�hler looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
B�hler wants to lay and pray for a moment but De Pury keeps working.

De Pury really doesn't want to stay on the ground with B�hler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
