Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between RA Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ong Bak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bak is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by One Night In Bangkok. Ong Bak has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, RA Mac! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ong Bak! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mac scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Bak fails to land with a series of punches.
Ong Bak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A left and a right from Mac both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Ong Bak has been cut. Bak gets a clinch. Bak tries to pull guard but Mac holds him up against the cage and eventually Bak drops back down to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mac keeps the fight on the outside. Bak misses with a few strikes there.

Mac scores with the left hand. Bak knows he should have avoided that one. Mac wants to clinch up but Bak keeps it at a distance. Bak throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mac lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mac. Bak misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bak closes the distance and pushes Mac back into the cage. Bak taking a breather. Bak tries to land a knee to the head but Mac blocks with his arms.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mac is looking to break free of the clinch but Bak has double underhooks. A frustrated look appears on Mac's face as he tries to break the clinch. Bak pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bak motions for Mac to come forward. Bak throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ong Bak dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Mac lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bak circles away quickly and effectively. Bak changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Mac slips a jab and a cross from Bak.

Mac wants to stand and escape but instead Bak has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Bak prevents Mac from getting back to his feet. Ong Bak is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The ref stands the fighters back up because RA Mac just wasn't active enough. Bak closes the distance and clinches. RA Mac has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bak lands a right hand that snaps the head of Mac backwards. Mac looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Bak lands a body punch in the clinch. Bak pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bak throws a leg kick but Mac checks it. Bak throws a right and a left that both miss. Bak throws a series of punches but Mac moves out of range. No joy there for Bak, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mac swats away the attempt to clinch by Bak. Bak closes the distance and pushes Mac back into the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mac tries to work over Bak's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
And that's the end of the fight! Ong Bak comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bak has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
