Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Phil Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yancy Malaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Phil Cruz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yancy Malaki! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Malaki scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Malaki fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Cruz moves in looking to clinch but Malaki pushes him off. Cruz throws a head kick but Malaki moves out of range.
Cruz tries to clinch there but Malaki circles away.
Cruz tries to clinch and Malaki counters with a lovely shot to the body. Cruz throws a head kick that misses. Malaki scores with a three punch combo!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Malaki throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Malaki scores with a nice strike. Malaki looks to land a combination but Cruz avoids it well. Malaki smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Malaki swinging wildly here.
Cruz tries to close the distance and clinch but Malaki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cruz takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Cruz throws a head kick that misses. Malaki circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cruz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Malaki checks the leg kick nicely there.
Malaki doesn't manage to clinch there - Cruz circles away.
Malaki scores with a hook to the body. Cruz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Malaki keeps the fight on the outside. Malaki comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Cruz tries to clinch but Malaki moves out of range. Cruz throws a front kick aimed at Malaki's knee but Malaki avoids it well. Cruz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Malaki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Cruz walks into a left hand. Cruz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cruz moves forwards but Malaki connects with a nice, crisp jab. Malaki blocks a head kick by Cruz.
Malaki has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Cruz tries to work over Malaki's front leg with a kick but Malaki checks it. Malaki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Cruz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cruz takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Malaki misses with a series of wild punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cruz wants to clinch up but Malaki keeps it at a distance. Cruz throws a head kick that misses. Malaki lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Malaki's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cruz under the eye. Malaki drops Cruz with a beautiful combination! Cruz stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Malaki is looking for the KO!
Cruz is rocked! Malaki thuds a left hand into Cruz's body. Oh Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cruz is breathing heavily. Malaki wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Malaki fakes the body blow, causing Cruz to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Cruz goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yancy Malaki! Yancy Malaki gave a mention to KAISER in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
