Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keith Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zoran Pavicevic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams's entrance music is The Sweet Life - Every Time I Die. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavicevic looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Williams takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pavicevic moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Williams throws an overhand right that lands on Pavicevic's shoulder, as Pavicevic tries to avoid the shot.
A solid leg kick lands there for Pavicevic.
Williams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A punch combination from Williams misses.
Williams throws a lazy right hand but Pavicevic sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Williams looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pavicevic is fending him off so far but Williams persists. Nope, Pavicevic circles away and we're back to standing.
Williams is breathing heavily.
Good work by Pavicevic as he checks the leg kick.
Pavicevic dodges the punch combination from Williams.
Pavicevic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Williams throws a hook to the side of Pavicevic's head but Pavicevic sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Williams fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pavicevic manages to avoid it.

and Williams counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Nice combo by Pavicevic! Oh, that's hurt him - Williams falls to the canvas and Pavicevic follows him into side control.


It looks like Keith Williams has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pavicevic lands a nice forearm strike.

Williams tries to buck Pavicevic off but Pavicevic is having none of it.

Pavicevic looks up at the clock and then as Williams takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pavicevic smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Williams takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Williams is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Pavicevic's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Williams has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pavicevic is working away from the top position though.

Pavicevic is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Williams has managed to free his arm - good work.

Pavicevic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Williams postures up in Pavicevic's guard and throws a big left but Pavicevic blocks it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pavicevic can do anything to dispel that myth.

Williams does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pavicevic stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Williams.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pavicevic had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Williams is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pavicevic Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Williams's back instead.
Pavicevic doesn't have the hooks in and Williams manages to turn into his guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
