The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoppers lands with a kick to the ribs.
Stoppers lands with a hook. Da Man tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Paco Da Man has been cut.
Stoppers throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Da Man, right into the meat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Da Man throws a hook to the side of Stoppers's head but Stoppers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Stoppers scores with a jab to the body.
Da Man misses with a low kick as Stoppers jumps back.
Good leg kick by Stoppers there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Stoppers swinging wildly here.
Stoppers lands the left hand.
Stoppers moves away from the strike by Da Man.
Da Man lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Da Man doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stoppers lands a slapping body shot.
Da Man looks winded!
Da Man swings away with a body shot that misses
and Stoppers counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Da Man badly! He tries to strike back but Stoppers puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Da Man out cold! Oh man, Da Man will never hear the end of this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Willy Stoppers!
After the fight, Willy Stoppers was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
