Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sterling Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Ortiz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sterling Archer! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Archer goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Archer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ortiz.
Archer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ortiz shoots in and bounces Archer off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Archer wants to sweep but no luck. Ortiz is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Archer is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Archer has escaped and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Archer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Archer wants to get up but he can't break Ortiz's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Ortiz wants to sweep here but Archer controlling him for the moment. Archer wanted to stand there but Ortiz had control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ortiz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Archer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Archer tries to stand but Ortiz is controlling from the bottom. Ortiz has momentary wrist control but Archer slips an elbow through the middle. Archer throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ortiz has control of Archer's left arm, preventing Archer from doing any damage. Archer drops back looking for a leg! Ortiz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ortiz manages to kick Archer off! Archer jumps back into Ortiz's guard. Archer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Archer wants to control from the top but Ortiz keeps moving. Ortiz tries to strike from the bottom.
Archer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Archer trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ortiz's guard. Ortiz keeping moving, preventing Archer from controlling successfully. Ortiz controlling the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Archer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Archer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ortiz to score an easy takedown into full guard. Archer throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Ortiz tries to stand but Archer is controlling from the bottom. Ortiz won't allow Archer to get back to his feet. Archer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ortiz is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there. Archer lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ortiz! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ortiz tries to get back to half guard but can't. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Archer lands a nice shot to the head. Archer dominating with strikes here. Archer is in the full mount, landing strikes. Ortiz is squirming around, avoiding Archer's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sterling Archer dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Archer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ortiz on his heels. He'll look to pass Ortiz's guard now, I'm sure. Ortiz has a closed guard, preventing Archer from standing up. Archer wants to stand and escape but instead Ortiz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Ortiz looking to sit in guard and control but Archer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Archer prevents Ortiz from getting back to his feet. Archer trying to control but Ortiz is working from the bottom. Archer with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Archer makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Archer is looking to stand up but Ortiz won't let him. Archer gets to his feet. Ortiz looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Archer lands a really nice looking cross but Ortiz seems unphased.
Ortiz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Archer trying to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ortiz tries to stand but Archer is controlling from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ortiz trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Archer tries to strike from the bottom.
Ortiz trying to control the position from guard on top but Archer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Archer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Ortiz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Archer swivels though and keeps the full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We're going to have a standup here because Jack Ortiz wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Archer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ortiz takes one to the side of the head.

Ortiz is rocked! Archer takes the fight into the clinch. Oh Ortiz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Archer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Archer lands a huge takedown. Ortiz is out but the ref is slow to react and Archer lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Ortiz lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sterling Archer! Sterling Archer seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
