Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hideaki Murakami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tokyo Drift (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hideaki Murakami! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tokyo Drift! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murakami ducks under a wild hook from Drift. Murakami wants to clinch and Drift counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Murakami is lucky that one didn't land flush. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Murakami is defended easily by Drift. Murakami gets a clinch. Murakami wants to get back to striking at distance but Drift won't allow it.
Drift pushes off an throws an elbow but Murakami leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Drift. Drift misses with an elbow strike.
Drift pulls guard successfully.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Murakami accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Murakami trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Drift manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Murakami has his foot on Drift's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Drift works his way back into a safe position though. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Drift avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Drift is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murakami escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Drift gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Murakami wants to stand up but Drift is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Drift's corner is telling him to maintain position. Murakami wants to sweep but no luck.
Tokyo Drift has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Murakami changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Drift tries to avoid it but Murakami manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Drift to the ground. Drift escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Murakami is defended easily by Drift. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hideaki Murakami. That's going to take a lot out of him. Murakami gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murakami misses with a takedown attempt - Drift sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Murakami is breathing heavily. Drift feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Murakami had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Drift defends it easily. Drift engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Murakami is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drift showing good wrestling skills to control the position. It looks like Drift might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tokyo Drift wasn't active enough on the ground. Drift looking to score a takedown here. Murakami is defending well but Drift drives through and ends up in Murakami's guard. Murakami looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Drift slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murakami throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Drift escapes and throws Murakami's legs to the side, diving into side control! Drift stands up and we're back to a striking position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Murakami is looking to clinch. Drift looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Drift sitting in guard here, content to control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Murakami can't keep his opponent in guard - Drift advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tokyo Drift dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Murakami tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Drift manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Drift swats away the attempt to clinch by Murakami. Murakami is looking to clinch. Drift moves into the clinch successfully.
Murakami creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Drift lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Hideaki Murakami has been cut. Murakami misses with an elbow strike.
Murakami is looking to break free of the clinch but Drift has double underhooks. Murakami working hard to break the clinch. Drift lands a nice elbow. Drift lands an elbow inside that Murakami shrugs off. Drift lands a left hand that snaps the head of Murakami backwards. Murakami changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Drift fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Hideaki Murakami is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Drift circles away from the clinch attempt.
Murakami tries to close the distance and clinch up but Drift swats him away and circles back towards the center. Drift shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Murakami's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Drift controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Murakami is looking to sweep but instead, Drift has passed into half guard.
Drift moves nicely into side control. Drift tries to advance to mount but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Drift misses with the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drift controls the position. Murakami is looking to regain half guard here but Drift keeps moving and retains side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Drift is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Murakami knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Drift controlling from side mount. Drift wants to lay and pray for a moment but Murakami keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murakami trying to remain calm as Drift controls from the top position. Drift tries for a kimura but Murakami is defending well. Drift controls the position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Murakami is looking for a sweep. Drift working away. Drift is looking to take a break and control but Murakami is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Murakami gets back to half guard. Murakami is looking to improve his position.
Tokyo Drift has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murakami wants to control but Drift is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. The fight stays on the outside here - Murakami looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Drift lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Drift throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Murakami was covering up waiting for the punch and Drift finishes the takedown easily into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Murakami trying to keep a closed guard but Drift is proving a slippery customer.
Drift works a leg free and moves into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Drift sitting and controlling from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tokyo Drift showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Hideaki Murakami's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Drift fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Murakami, pushing him back against the cage. Murakami goes for a takedown attempt but Drift pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Drift keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Drift postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Murakami to stand up. Murakami gets caught napping as Drift dives in and scores a takedown. Murakami manages to retain guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Murakami has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Drift has passed into side control.

Drift is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Murakami will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Murakami is looking for a sweep. Murakami pushes Drift away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Drift gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Murakami is trying to improve his position. Drift is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Murakami looks calm but he's in trouble here. Drift gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Murakami is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Drift lets go of the hold and Murakami can pop his arm back in it's socket.
