Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sato looks to score with a jab to the body but Whitehead is just out of range.
Whitehead stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Whitehead wants it to stay on the feet.
Whitehead shoots in for a double leg but Sato sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Sato counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sato.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Whitehead bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sato's guard.

Sato postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Whitehead out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Sato goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
