The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Palmeiras throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Field was covering up waiting for the punch and O Palmeiras finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Field keeping full guard, as O Palmeiras tries to pass.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
O Palmeiras is sitting in close to Field's body. Field has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! O Palmeiras is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, O Palmeiras is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Field.
