Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Om Oms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Gun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Om Oms!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tommy Gun!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Oms 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Oms throws a looping overhand right but Gun ducks down to avoid it.
Oms throws a lazy uppercut
and Gun counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gun.
Oms's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Gun lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Oms backwards.
Gun slows down the pace here.
Oms jumps guard but Gun turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Gun lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Oms fails to pull guard.
Gun's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Oms throws an off balance right hand
and Gun counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Oms is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Gun scores with a spinning back kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oms takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A swing and a miss from Oms.
Gun moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Oms connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Tommy Gun has been cut.
Om Oms seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gun lands a head kick. Oms smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Oms swings widly with a right hand
and Gun counters with a flying knee that drops Oms! Gun dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Gun!
A relieved looking Tommy Gun thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
