Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brent Caerdinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caerdinn is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dr. Feelgood. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Damien Melendez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brent Caerdinn! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caerdinn moves into the clinch. Melendez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Caerdinn prevents it.
Caerdinn has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Melendez clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Melendez is in bad spot here.
Caerdinn doesn't have the hooks in and Melendez manages to turn into his guard.
Caerdinn controlling Melendez's posture. Melendez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Melendez postures up.
Melendez tries to free his leg and advance position but Caerdinn is retaining full guard. Caerdinn looking to control.
Melendez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Caerdinn manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Melendez has Caerdinn in his guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Melendez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Caerdinn should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Melendez has tightened it up now! Caerdinn should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Damien Melendez! A relieved looking Damien Melendez thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
