Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brent Caerdinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caerdinn is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dr. Feelgood. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Caerdinn moves into the clinch.
Melendez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Caerdinn prevents it.

Caerdinn has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Melendez clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Caerdinn doesn't have the hooks in and Melendez manages to turn into his guard.

Melendez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Melendez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Caerdinn manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Melendez has Caerdinn in his guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Melendez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Caerdinn should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Melendez has tightened it up now! Caerdinn should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
