Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrew Clark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gareth Gobblecoque!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark takes the fight into the clinch.
Gobblecoque breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Clark looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gobblecoque lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Gobblecoque shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Clark defends it nicely.
Clark throws a half hearted mid kick.
Clark checks a low kick from Gobblecoque.
Clark misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Clark thuds his shin into the meat of Gobblecoque's side.
Gobblecoque throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clark.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Clark.
Clark has closed the distance and engaged Gobblecoque in a clinch.

Gobblecoque is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Clark jerks Gobblecoque's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Gobblecoque drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Clark goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Clark because Gobblecoque was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
