Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cassia Aranda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Jack shoots in and bounces Aranda off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Aranda wants to sweep but no luck.
Jack must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Aranda keeping moving, preventing Jack from controlling successfully.
Aranda looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jack is one step ahead there.
Aranda might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Aranda will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Jack is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jack trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Leon Jack hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Aranda throws a right and a left that both miss.
Aranda connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Aranda shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Aranda showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jack trying to control but Aranda postures up.

Aranda is working for a kimura but Jack is defending it quite comfortably.
Jack is not content to let Aranda control the position.
Jack is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jack wants to get back to his feet.
Jack tries to get to full guard but Aranda has control of the leg.

Aranda is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jack sees it coming and defends easily.

Jack blocking the ground and pound attempt from Aranda.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jack is positioning himself well to prevent Aranda advancing to mount.
Jack is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Aranda jumps into side control!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Aranda in side control, throwing shots but Jack defends.

Jack tries to bench press Aranda off him but Aranda keeps the position.

Aranda has hold of Jack's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jack tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Aranda cranks the arm and Jack screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jack, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
