Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jan Wilhelm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Kutts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kutts's choice of entrance music: Save Me from Shinedown. Jax Kutts is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kutts fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Wilhelm falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kutts counters with a good low kick that Wilhelm was not able to check.
Wilhelm misses with a wild combination.

Wilhelm is looking to break free of the clinch but Kutts has double underhooks.

Kutts turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kutts manages to end up in side control.
Wilhelm parries the strikes from Kutts easily there. Kutts is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Wilhelm to escape.

Kutts looking to control but instead Wilhelm has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Kutts thows a huge punch but Wilhelm dodges it nicely.
Kutts is just content to waste time from the top position. Wilhelm takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kutts in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Kutts slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Kutts drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wilhelm looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wilhelm looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wilhelm !

Kutts wants to improve his position but Wilhelm is controlling well.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kutts shoots in for a takedown but Wilhelm shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The strikes coming from Kutts are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Kutts has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
