Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carter Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Redding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wang comes to the ring accompanied by "Big Trouble in Little China" by Coup de Villes. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Wang is taking a breather. Redding says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Redding wants to control but Wang is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Wang looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Wang is working for a submission of some sort.
Wang is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Redding is refusing to be controlled, as Wang sits in half guard.
Wang controlling the action here.
Wang prevents Redding from standing back up.

Wang is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Redding is just riding it out for now. Wang eventually gives up the hold.
Wang is looking for a kimura but Redding is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wang to get the leverage.
Wang prevents Redding from improving his position.
Wang slows the pace down in half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wang lands a nice short elbow.

The fighters are battling for position here. Redding manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Wang not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Redding is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Redding throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wang.
Wang feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Redding throws a sloppy strike and Wang has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Redding is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Wang!
