Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Khaslov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agustin Ignacio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khaslov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is You can't bring me down. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khaslov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Khaslov escapes and gets back to his feet.
Khaslov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Ignacio!
Khaslov cracks Ignacio with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Khaslov lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Khaslov decides to stand up, so the ref orders Ignacio to his feet.
Khaslov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Khaslov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ignacio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Khaslov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Khaslov stands up over Ignacio, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Khaslov is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Khaslov seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Khaslov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ignacio is trying to control Khaslov's posture but Khaslov avoids it.
Khaslov looks up at the clock and then as Ignacio takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Khaslov smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Ignacio is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Khaslov is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Khaslov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ignacio's face.
Ignacio is rocked!
Khaslov lands a big elbow - Ignacio is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Ignacio is forced to tap out!

After winning the bout, Yuri Khaslov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
