Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Talbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Talbot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Josh Collins!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins tries to clinch up.
Collins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Talbot.
Collins leaves Talbot with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Collins throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Collins slaps away a takedown attempt from Talbot, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Talbot gets the takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Collins can't do much from the bottom here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Collins parries the strikes from Talbot easily there. Talbot is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Collins to escape.

Talbot is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Collins knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Talbot thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Talbot is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Collins is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Collins is looking to get back to his feet here but Talbot is keeping cool and he's managed to take Collins's back.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Talbot pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Talbot shoots in for a takedown but Collins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Collins circles away from the clinch attempt.
Collins throws a right and a left that both miss.
Collins moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Collins misses the shot to the body.
Collins throws a one two combo.

Talbot scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Talbot wants to pass the guard but Collins is defending well.
Collins blocking the ground and pound attempt from Talbot.
Talbot throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Collins keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Talbot wants to control but Collins is keeping him busy.
Collins won't allow Talbot to pass to mount.

Talbot is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jack Talbot overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Talbot thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Collins's head.
Talbot wants to lay and pray for a moment but Collins keeps working.
Collins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Talbot. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Collins is trying to stand back up but Talbot is controlling him

Collins is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Talbot has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Collins is tapping! This fight is all over!
