Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Liu Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ismaail Muse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ismaail Muse has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Liu Kang's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Liu Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ismaail Muse!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Muse with that takedown attempt.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kang, right into the meat.
Muse shoots for a takedown but Kang saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kang tries to clinch up but Muse circles away and keeps his distance.
Kang takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Muse is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Muse shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kang as he jumps to the side.
Liu Kang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ismaail Muse.
Muse throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kang.

Muse clinches up against the cage.

Muse successfully pulls guard.
Muse keeping moving, preventing Kang from controlling successfully.
Kang might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kang tries to stand but Muse is controlling from the bottom.
Muse is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Muse looking for a sweep. Not yet Muse, not yet.
Kang would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Muse looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kang is one step ahead there.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kang looks for the body kick but Muse saw that one coming.
Muse misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kang fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kang shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Muse but Muse pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kang doesn't manage to clinch there - Muse circles away.

Muse gets a clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Kang wants a takedown but no success here.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Muse takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Kang stops a takedown attempt from Muse.
Kang has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Muse is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kang is breathing heavily.
Kang misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Muse.
Kang wants a takedown but no success here.

Muse prevents a body shot from Kang.

Muse pulls Kang into guard.

Muse looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Muse has Kang pulled in close to control his posture.
Kang throwing strikes from guard but Muse blocks nicely.
Muse wants to stand and escape but Kang is having none of it.
Muse is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Muse decides to return to a standing position.

Kang throws a hook to the side of Muse's head but Muse sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kang goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Muse throws a lazy body kick

and Kang counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Muse!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Kang misses with a head shot.
Kang cracks Muse with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kang trying to control but Muse is having none of it.
Muse wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Liu Kang will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kang has a takedown stuffed.
Kang fails to land the takedown.
Kang tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Muse paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Muse doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Kang counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kang.
Kang tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Muse smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Liu Kang. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kang closes this distance looking for a takedown but Muse circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kang darts in trying to clinch
and Muse counters with a leg kick.

Muse shoots and misses

so Kang counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Muse wants to sweep but no luck.

Muse kicks Kang off and gets to his feet.
Muse shoots for a takedown but Kang saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Muse shoots in and drives through. Kang sprawls well.
Muse has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Kang takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Muse shoots in but Kang avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kang gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Muse.

Muse tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Muse breaks the clinch.
Muse looks to land a combination. Kang sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Kang is rocked!

It looks like Liu Kang has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Horrible takedown by Muse or perhaps it was just good defense by Kang which made him look bad.
Oh Kang is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kang closes the distance looking to clinch
and Muse counters with a big right hand! Oh Kang is in trouble here! Muse follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ismaail Muse!
