Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lenzi Tapera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr Domination!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Domination moves out of range as Tapera throws a body kick.
Tapera tries to clinch there but Domination circles away.
Domination shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tapera as he avoids it easily.
Domination shoots in for a double leg but Tapera sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tapera pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Domination back to the cage. Tapera follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Tapera tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Tapera feints and as Domination raises his hands in defense, Tapera changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Domination looks winded!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Tapera stands and throws Domination's legs to the side, diving into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tapera wants to control but Domination is keeping him busy.
Tapera throws an elbow but Domination slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tapera tries to move into full mount but can't pass Domination's legs.
Tapera has hold of Domination's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Domination tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Tapera cranks the arm and Domination screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Domination, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Lenzi Tapera!
