Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Danny McNulty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marquise Berry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Berry's choice of entrance music: Macklemore-Thrift Shop. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNulty closes this distance looking for a takedown but Berry circles away.
McNulty dives in and grabs Berry's left leg, looking for a takedown. Berry pushes down on McNulty's head and hops out.
McNulty shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny McNulty. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

McNulty knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Berry on the ground.

Berry winds up and cracks McNulty with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Berry is trying to work for a kimura but McNulty is defending well.
Berry slips a nice elbow through McNulty's hands, connecting with McNulty's forehead.
Berry is nestled in close to McNulty, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Berry lands a nice short elbow.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Berry lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt McNulty quite badly. McNulty pulls Berry in close trying to recover. Berry postures up and lands two really hard shots that put McNulty on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but McNulty doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marquise Berry!
Post fight, Marquise Berry took to the microphone: 'I'm Marquise and I'm going to be here all night!'.
