Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ludwig Manres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamey Mills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manres's entrance music is Aqualung - Jethro Tull. A fine choice. Jamey Mills will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills doesn't manage to clinch there - Manres circles away.
Mills will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Manres tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mills sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Manres somewhat.
Manres shoots in looking for a takedown. Mills tries to sprawl out of it but Manres keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mills manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Mills enables Manres to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mills manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Manres will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Manres escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mills gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Manres controls Mills momentarily but Mills frees himself.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd cheers as Mills lands an impressive looking overhand right. Manres doesn't seem phased though.

Mills throws a jab but it's blocked by Manres.

and Mills counters with a crisp right that sends Manres to the canvas! Mills follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

After winning the bout, Jamey Mills thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
