Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Tommy Grunge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Grunge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Chan!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Grunge.
Grunge blocks a head kick by Chan.
Grunge lands an overhand right.

Grunge throws out a head kick that Chan doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Chan crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Chan's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

It looks like Paul Chan has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Grunge misses with a body kick.
Grunge moves out of range as Chan throws a body kick.
Chan tries a head kick but it misses.

Grunge instigates a clinch.
Grunge with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Chan is rocked!
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Grunge obliges.
Chan is still on wobbly legs! Can Grunge finish him?
Grunge connects with a nasty looking knee right to Chan's face.
Chan tries a knee to the head but Grunge blocks it.
Chan pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Grunge is controlling Chan's neck. Grunge unleashes a big knee up the middle! And another! Chan goes down! Can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6... he's not going to make it! 9,10. It's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Tommy Grunge!
Tommy Grunge decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
