Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emerson Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Drowning Pool - Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Emerson Cane! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cane paws at him with a jab and circles away. Cane throws a head kick that Morgan semi-blocks.
It looks like Matt Morgan has been cut. Cane throws a series of punches but Morgan avoids them all with ease. Cane looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Morgan! Morgan trying desperately to get to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cane controlling from the full mount. Cane landing strikes from the mount and Morgan is in trouble! Cane takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cane working Morgan over with strikes here. Morgan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Morgan tries to get out of the position. Cane lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Morgan wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Morgan prevents Cane from getting a body triangle. Cane connects with a big shot to the side of Morgan's head.

He's simply no match for Cane on the ground. Cane trying to control. Cane has his opponent's back but Morgan is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Cane. Cane shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morgan as he jumps to the side. Morgan lands a really nice looking cross but Cane seems unphased.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cane throws a right hand that Morgan ducks under and follows up with a left that Morgan also avoids with ease. Morgan lands a two punch combo.
Morgan doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cane counters with a series of strikes. Morgan will be more careful next time no doubt. Morgan is breathing heavily. Cane gets a takedown into half guard. Cane wants to lay and pray for a moment but Morgan keeps working. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Morgan tries to kick Cane off in order to stand up. Cane Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Morgan pushes Cane away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Cane gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Emerson Cane dominated that round. The cut man is working on Matt Morgan's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cane tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Morgan stuffs the takedown attempt from Cane. Cane gets slowly back to his feet. Cane shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morgan as he jumps to the side. Cane gets in close and instigates a clinch. Cane missing with knees to the body.
Morgan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cane fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Cane. No joy for Morgan on that attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morgan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cane counters with a nice double leg into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Morgan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cane stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Morgan to get to his feet. Emerson Cane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cane fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Morgan sprawls well initially but Cane persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Cane prevents Morgan from standing back up.
Cane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Cane passes the guard and advances to mount! Cane tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cane won't let Morgan get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Cane is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Morgan is in real trouble.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Morgan covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Morgan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Cane is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Morgan stands and steps away. Cane gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Matt Morgan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Morgan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cane throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Morgan counters with a left and a right that stings Cane. Cane throws a front kick that sends Morgan stumbling back into the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Morgan shoots for a takedown but Cane saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Emerson Cane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Matt Morgan's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Morgan manages to escape and get back to his feet.

and Morgan counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cane scores with a one two! Morgan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Cane shoots for a double leg takedown but Morgan sprawls well. He's pushed Cane's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Matt Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emerson Cane. Cane shoots in looking for a takedown. Morgan tries to sprawl out of it but Cane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Morgan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Horrible takedown by Cane or perhaps it was just good defense by Morgan which made him look bad. Cane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cane changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Morgan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Morgan is not content to let Cane control the position. Morgan takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cane happy to just control the position for now. Morgan takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. That's three minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Morgan is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Morgan trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Cane stands up and beckons Morgan to his feet. Cane scores with a takedown into Morgan's guard. Cane is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morgan wants to get back to his feet but Cane is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Cane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morgan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Morgan wants to stand and escape but Cane is having none of it. Morgan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cane. Morgan wants to stand but Cane is controlling the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Emerson Cane comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Cane has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
