Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
27 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Webster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
28 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cain Colbert!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webster misses with a body kick.
Cain Colbert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Webster throws a leg kick but Colbert checks it.
Colbert looks to land a right hand but Webster moved out of range.
Colbert pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Webster connects with a nice looking jab.
Colbert scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Webster doesn't seem bothered though.
Webster uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Colbert.
Webster connects with a leg kick. Colbert looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Colbert tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Webster is able to avoid easily.
Webster stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Colbert.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Colbert.
Webster is breathing heavily.
Colbert with a nice cross.
It looks like Chris Webster has been cut.
Webster stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Colbert misses the shot to the body.
Colbert cracks Webster with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Colbert has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Webster to stand back up!
Webster is rocked!
Webster fails in his attempt to clinch.
Oh Webster is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Colbert engages and cracks Webster with a massive lead left hook - Webster tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Colbert is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cain Colbert!
