Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grease St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shingo Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St Pierre comes into the arena with Jag - Worst Nightmare blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Tanaka fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt St Pierre.
St Pierre avoids the head kick by Tanaka.
Tanaka throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
St Pierre tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Tanaka connects with a leg kick. St Pierre looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Tanaka throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A nice leg kick lands there from Tanaka.
St Pierre stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tanaka.
Tanaka is looking to slow St Pierre down with leg kicks.
St Pierre is breathing heavily.
Tanaka feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to St Pierre's calf.
Tanaka throws a front kick that sends St Pierre stumbling back into the ropes.
Tanaka lands a nice leg kick that just misses St Pierre's sensitive parts.
Tanaka connects with a solid leg kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Tanaka.

Shingo Tanaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tanaka connects with a solid leg kick.
St Pierre misses with a right hand

and Tanaka counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Tanaka thows a huge punch but St Pierre dodges it nicely.
Tanaka takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
St Pierre is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
St Pierre trying to hold on to Tanaka's head to control him but Tanaka postures up.

Tanaka is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but St Pierre has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Tanaka is looking to defend but St Pierre has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Tanaka! St Pierre pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Tanaka taps out and this one is all over!
