Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lance Mortz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sailo Cylo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sailo Cylo!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cylo misses with a takedown attempt - Mortz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Mortz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lance Mortz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sailo Cylo.
Mortz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cylo.
Cylo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Mortz works Cylo's body with a nice hook.
Mortz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cylo manages to avoid it.

It looks like Sailo Cylo has been cut.
Mortz swings for the body but Cylo moves out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mortz throws a body punch but Cylo moves out of range.
Mortz is looking to wear down Cylo with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Cylo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Cylo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Cylo is looking for a kimura here.
Mortz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Cylo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Cylo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Mortz on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mortz tries to get out of the position.

Mortz is wriggling around trying to escape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cylo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Mortz can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Cylo is working for a guillotine from mount but Mortz frees his head quite easily.
Mortz is trying desperately to improve position.

Mortz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cylo on the ground.

Cylo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Mortz has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Mortz has given up his back here. Will Cylo look for the submission or keep pounding away?

I really don't envy Mortz right now.
Cylo working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Mortz is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Cylo has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Mortz taps out!
