Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meredith takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Stevens works Meredith's body with a nice hook.
Meredith looks for a takedown but Stevens sprawls well.
Stevens swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Meredith gets caught flat footed, as Stevens shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Stevens working some strikes from top position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stevens stopping the sweep attempt from Meredith.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Meredith avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Stevens trying to control but Meredith is working from the bottom.
Stevens in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Stevens won't allow Meredith to sweep him here.
Stevens throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Meredith is trying to control the position but Stevens postures up.

Stevens throws a big right hand that misses.
Meredith keeping moving, preventing Stevens from controlling successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Meredith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stevens's waist but Stevens gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Meredith off to one side.
Meredith darts in trying to clinch
and Stevens counters with a left and a right... And another left! Meredith is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Stevens!
