Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Blow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Donkey!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donkey keeps the fight on the outside.
Blow is trying hard to land a takedown here. Donkey sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Donkey shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blow as he avoids it easily.
Blow closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Donkey jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Blow walks away with a smile on his face. Donkey gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Donkey shoots in but no luck this time.
Joe Blow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Donkey.
Donkey tries to clinch there but Blow circles away.
Donkey gets tackled into the cage by Blow. Blow maintains the clinch.
Donkey throws a knee to the head but misses.
Blow lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Donkey or not.
Donkey fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Blow avoids the elbow strike from Donkey, against the cage.
Donkey takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like King Donkey has been cut.
Donkey is trying to break the clinch but Blow has him pressed against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Donkey is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Blow pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Blow jumps guard and drags Donkey to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Joe Blow has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Blow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Donkey tries to avoid it but Blow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Donkey to the ground. Donkey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Blow scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Blow is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Donkey is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Donkey is refusing to be controlled, as Blow sits in half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blow escapes and gets back to his feet.
Blow lands with a kick to the ribs.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Donkey.
Donkey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
King Donkey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A solid leg kick lands there for Blow.
Donkey tries to close the distance and clinch but Blow swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Blow rushes Donkey and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Blow jumps guard and drags Donkey to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Blow is looking for a triangle but Donkey pushes his legs off easily.
Donkey showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Donkey is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Blow has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Donkey is looking to defend but Blow has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Donkey! Blow pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Donkey taps out and this one is all over!
