Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Really Suck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Really Suck struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Davis. Suck shrugs it off though.
Suck looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Davis defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Suck.
Suck on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Davis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Suck to the mat! Suck manages to get full guard.
Davis stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Davis throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Suck.
Davis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Davis tries to close the distance and clinch but Suck swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Suck throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Davis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Davis connects with a high kick.
Davis scores with a jab.
A thudding body kick lands there by Davis!

Davis connects with an inside leg kick.
Davis lands a nice looking kick to the body. Suck takes a step back to recover.
Davis moves into the clinch.
Davis manages to break the clinch.
Davis throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Davis moves in looking to clinch but Suck pushes him off.
Davis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Suck was well out of range. Poor timing from Davis.
Davis forces Suck back against the cage and clinches.
Davis gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Davis has picked Suck up - he's going for a ride! Davis dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davis working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Davis wants to stand but Suck has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Davis keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Suck taking some punishment here, with Davis in his half guard.
Davis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Suck's head.
Davis is thwarting Suck's attempts to control the position.
Davis is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Davis is working for a submission of some sort.

Davis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Suck, up you get!

Davis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Suck looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Suck takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Suck tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Suck is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Davis decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Suck fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Davis avoids it really well and circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Davis throws a quick inside leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Davis dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Davis pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Suck circles away from the clinch attempt.
Davis misses with a head kick.
Davis moves into the clinch.
Davis lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Suck is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Davis manages to break the clinch.
Really Suck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Davis pushes Suck away with a front kick.
Suck takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Suck is breathing heavily.
Davis has managed to clinch.
Suck is trying to push Davis away but Davis has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Davis will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Suck up against the cage.

Suck takes an elbow to the temple.
Suck has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Davis.
Davis connects with a nasty looking knee right to Suck's face.
Suck is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Davis is defending well.
Davis manages to break the clinch.
Davis pushes Suck up against the cage in a clinch.
Davis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Davis doesn't manage to clinch there - Suck circles away.
Suck takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Davis lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Davis works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Davis's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of John Davis.

Suck moves to clinch but Davis breaks away
enabling Davis to counter with a crisp jab.

Davis scores with a kick to the midsection.
Davis fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Suck, pushing him back against the cage.
Suck takes a knee right on the jaw!
Davis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Davis feints a jab promting Suck to slip. Davis then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Suck slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Davis connects with a leg kick. Suck looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Davis has Suck up against the cage in a clinch.
Davis lands an elbow inside.
Suck is rocked!
Davis jumps guard.
Suck is still in real trouble! Can Davis finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davis uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Davis cracks Suck with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Suck falls to his knees and Davis doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Davis!
