Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juan Mato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Scarpavi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scarpavi works over Mato's head and body with a nice combination.
Mato throws a hook but Scarpavi avoids it easily.
Scarpavi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Mato shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Scarpavi pinned against the cage. Scarpavi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Scarpavi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mato changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Scarpavi tries to avoid it but Mato manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Scarpavi to the ground. Scarpavi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Scarpavi's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Scarpavi duly obliges.
Scarpavi might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
